This is one of the underrated courses in the area, but not by those in the know (it has been nationally ranked). It has 18 great holes, and a unique, if only too short, history that starts with a family beef cattle farm. And it may sound funny to hear that they have an airstrip in the middle of the course, but that only adds to its charm. And definitely one of my favorite holes in the Capital Region is the 18th - driving off the tee over a stream and some forest into a nice open fairway. Sometimes I make it, sometimes I don't. But it's always fun.

This course is tons of fun and challenging. The fairways and greens are in great shape. My favorite hole is number 3 which is a par 3. You have to hit over a valley and land on an elevated green.

The greens are immaculate, the fairways friendly, and the roughs are, well, rough. Add in the covered bridges, the airstrip bisecting holes 2 and 8, and the people friendly tavern; and you have award winning Airway Meadows Golf Club. Come see what everyone’s talking about. Once you do, you’ll keep coming back.
